Reviews of the Broward County Clerk Of-Court
4 years ago Thank you for the excellent and flawless service received from Mrs. Phyllis Clark in room #110. My hat's off with gratitude and appreciation for your kindness, time and effort... Cheers! Hugo Jr.
I was expecting the worse after reading some of the reviews but I was actually pleasantly surprised by the way everything was handled courteously and professionally. I went on a Monday afternoon so it wasn't that busy. I think I spent about 30 minutes total. There were about 4 windows open. I was watching the interactions between the clerks and the people and noticed right away the 'amicable' and 'no stress' vibe. (They must have changed the staff.. It wasn't like that a year ago..) The young lady that helped me - 'Precious' - was very nice and very helpful from the start. I had to show proof of insurance, (got pulled over and my 'Geico insurance app' kept on freezing. Everything was taken care of promptly and professionally. Thank you Mrs Precious!
These people in the marriage/passport section are completely lazy, unmotivated and useless. Waited 45 minutes on two windows with only 2 people served in that time. The lady in window 10 processed one person, took a coffee break, served another, then left her desk to restock an already full passport form kiosk. It’s utterly disgusting that our tax dollars as Broward County residents are paying these employees who have zero motivation. There are 6 windows for marriage/passport and only 2 employees present. Why have 6 windows when I’ve never seen 6 employees serving the people waiting? There should really be zero stars. These people are grotesquely lazy and severely ineffectual. It’s worth the drive to Clewiston for your marriage license. In and out in 15 minutes.
I had to go to see the Clerk of Courts regarding a couple of Failure to Pay fines that were pending. The lady was incredibly nice and helpful. She was able to fix everything. Wait time was pretty short considering and parking was way easier then the Downtown Ft.Lauderdale hub.
Went today to process my new passport and this location provided an excellent and fast service. Everything was completed within 40 min. Great Location !!! Recommended
