I was summond for jury duty first time to be honest. Dressed up and everything started at 830 got in line at about 815 roughly where I stood with about 90 other people and we stood there for almost an hour wmin the cold and misty rain. Telling us we where not allowed to go inside. Brought us in sat us down the 5 minutes me and a group of people where taken back outside into another building where we sat for 3hrs while we where question which only last like 45 minutes out of the 3hrs, where not asked if we wanted water or food. Then went into the court room to be questioned by the state that lasted 2hrs then given a 10 minute break to use the bathroom, brought back in to hear the defense questions last 45 minutes, then stood in the front for well over an hour still haven't had nothing to drink or eat all in all I was not happy with the people at the courthouse and I see how they treat the people of putnum county
Persons employed at this small town clerk of courts are small town simple, and extremely lazy. Mostly incompetent, undereducated for the jobs they possess. They continuously blame the covid-19 for their delays. What was the excuse prior to the virus? They were just as sorry prior to the virus! Nothing has changed and I fear never will. What happened to pride in ones work?
Every time there is a zoom meeting it is 30 minutes to 1 hour past the time of our court hearing before they even start the zoom meeting. Extremely unprofessional.
