I called ahead of time about transferring a title into my name and explained that I live in WV, but the property was in Ohio. They told me I would need to come up to this office. Got there and they told me I have to do it in WV. Not so much as an apology for my wasted time and gas. I feel sorry for people who live here and actually have to deal with them.

The lady who sold us our licenses was pleasant BUT here was the problem: we walked in and asked about out-of-state fishing licenses and a different lady (tall, short hair) confidently said 40 bucks. Luckily my husband knew there were also 3 day one so he inquired about it. She got up and looked at a paper and said 19 bucks. Its kind of expensive but understandable. Then he asks if there is any license thats less days and she says "no". Okay so we are shelling out 38 bucks (cash only) for the two of us. My husband then opens a booklet there in the office and it says there are 1-day licenses. At this point we were slightly perturbed but got the 3-day. Good thing we inquired further or we would have been paying 80 bucks for a day or so worth of fishing. The ladies also informed us that we could always go to Walmart to buy our licenses. Well thats fine but as government employees whose job it is to also sell licenses maybe you should know what you're talking about.
