Reviews of the Bradford County Courthouse

Beautiful building, and easy to locate in the center of town. The front stairs can make it difficult to access for someone who may have physical disabilities. You're greeted by sheriff deputies upon entering, who walk you through a simple security scan. The deputies are always pleasant, and very willing to help you with any questions you may have. Most of the offices are located in a semi-circle on the first floor, with hearings being held on the second floor with a . There are large, visible signs above each office door and it definitely helps you find your destination with ease. The back of the building hosts an elevator, for those who cannot handle the stairs and the basement has more offices and two exits, that are exit only for safety reasons. The center of the building is open and bright, with very beautiful architectural detailing throughout. One of the most attractive county courthouses I've seen out of many.

There are many people who work very hard to make positive changes to the community but unfortunately to many are working against them. Bradford County could be such a great place but the community is broken. Once you make mistake its next to impossible to recover. So many great lives are being lost and it doesn't seem like some honestly want to see better for community. Money and name trump justice and human responsibility. I walk in the court house and I see on the walls it says "In God we Trust". Nobody wants to take responsibility for what's going on in our county. We are watching our citizens die. We have homeless people that ended up this way because they were not able to get support needed. I try to teach my children right vs. Wrong but my kids think I'm lying because of what they see. All that's done is people are locked in jail. You can not solve a problem by constantly incarcerating citizens. I do not believe that's what our Veterans went to war for. They went to provide freedom, protection and a real chance to live a good life. Many lost their lives for this. I believe Bradford County needs to listen and see what is going on. Allow those that are trying desperately to help the ability to do just that. This was a great place. I believe it can be changed drastically. If not we will bury many more and lose many more by breaking them down.
