Who to speak with when visiting the King County probate court
Plan ahead to be early in case available parking is limited and be prepared for formal security measures upon entering the building, as courthouses are official state and federal property. This generally includes passing through metal detectors and allowing search of any belongings.
Many courthouses do not allow cell phones, so keep that in mind as your phone may need to be turned off upon entering the courthouse, or even left outside.

Reviews of the King County Superior Court
Called around four to get some info and I’m aware that they close at 4:30pm and no one ever bothered to pick up and this isn’t the first time. What a joke.
The principal of my son’s school called me in an emergency to pick up my child on the day I was supposed to come to court for a conference meeting. I immediately called the courthouse and was directed to someone named TIFFANY who told me not to worry; I could have the conference over the phone with which I thanked her profusely. TIFFANY told me I would not be noncompliant because I had notified the courthouse about my emergency. (The emergency was that the principal was about to call the police on my 5 year old autistic child for spitting in school). The call never came and I went into the courthouse to ask the clerk what the status was and was told I would receive a letter in the mail. The letter arrived weeks later showing that the judge for my hearing had been switched to a different judge and that I was to pay a fee of 50.00 for noncompliance. I immediately called the clerks office and then tried to get in touch with Tiffany and ended up speaking to someone at the courthouse who told me to file a complaint against Tiffany or to let her superiors know what had happened. I never did that and ended up meeting Tiffany during my next hearing when I checked in as present. When I told her what had happened and asked her why she had told me I would not be marked as non compliant. TIFFANY seemed surprised I would confront her about this and didn’t know what to say but offered no explanation. When the judge told me my papers were filed incorrectly, TIFFANY sat at the bench near the judge and looked pleased with what had transpired. It was like a nightmare. I still can’t seem to get in touch with her superior but I am leaving this review here because I would recommend having your case filed anywhere but at this courthouse. I’m glad I will be doing just that.
My fiance and I tried to get a marriage licence today. We had three customers ahead of us and waited for over an hour to be seen. At 4:30 they closed their office up and handed out their supervisor's card if we were unhappy. The employee was rude and had zero problem solving skills.
So upset right now!! No one was answering the phone all 3 times I had called to find out if I had court this morning because I had not recieved any document copies from the respondent for requesting to modify/terminate the order!!! So unprofessional!
Every one is good. Judge and Clark are awesome. But the security is rude and they disrespect. Even sheriff is nice and respectful. Idk why those hired employees are so rude.
