Need help with probate in Texas?
This is a beautiful building right in the center of town. It looks and feels fundamental. The architecture is classic. It is practical and well organized inside for people to use Court House services. It is worth visiting even if you do not need any courthouse services since it is the best building in town.
Halletsville is in my opinion a highly corrupt city it's sheriff's department will stop vehicles that are high end luxury vehicles and when they can't find any thing wrong like no insurance or valid registration they will give you a citation for speeding and when you fight it they hold up court for the officer in question to arrive in his patrol vehicle and in uniform which means he's on duty which as I understand is against the law it's like he's being paid for his testimony then even if you make a substantial case sighting the officers oversight of the color of a vehicle or the number of passengers or when his Rader gun was last calibrated the judge will still find you guilty and fine you $300.00 so in my opinion avoid this little piece of HELL it's not worth the price of admission if at all possible detour around this town this is my personal opinion and mine alone had a very bad experience and will NEVER again go anywhere near this town again
