About visiting the Madison County Municipal Court House

The term probate court is a common term loosely referring to the probate division located within a state or county courthouse. In the state of Ohio, the Common Pleas Court is the level of court responsible for overseeing matters related to probate court.

About visiting the probate court

Who to speak with when visiting the Madison County probate court

Upon visiting the Madison County Municipal Court House, look for signs or directions to the probate division within the main courthouse. Once you’ve located the probate division, make your way to any reception desks and ask to speak with a probate clerk or probate judge. The probate clerk at Madison County Municipal Court House may or may not require appointments based upon the busyness of the probate court, so it’s a great idea to call ahead.

Plan ahead to be early in case available parking is limited and be prepared for formal security measures upon entering the building, as courthouses are official state and federal property. This generally includes passing through metal detectors and allowing search of any belongings.

Many courthouses do not allow cell phones, so keep that in mind as your phone may need to be turned off upon entering the courthouse, or even left outside.

Friendly staff. My only problem here was directions. There is no signs that tell you where to go or where to sign in specially if your first time here. You will feel lost for sure. They need to organize people who come in and people who come out of court. When coming in for court You need to check in at the front desk also check in with the officer at the checkpoint. They will gather all the people for the hearing and then go to court trial. After your done you need to sign out for you next hearing if applicable.

I went to the court date appearing on my ticket and once I got there they said they had nobody to prosecute me and I would have to come back a month later. I live 2 hours away so not only is this a HUGE inconvenience for me, but it just shows the level of unprofessionalism of this establishment.

Judges consider the matter: Is it lawful for a man to come into your house and defile your wives and daughters while you're away on business? Haven't there arose wise men into your house who lie and call it a "practice", and yet you hold them highly? Aren't these the highly dangerous magicians and sorcerers who have turned the house of truth into a den of thieves, yet again? Isn't there a source who has declared their ending from the beginning? Is it good that you eat from the weak and lame of the flock? Isn't the acceptable sacrifice, to be of the lambs without blemish? If truth should return, would your good judgement come into question? Using these highly trained deception artists, against the weaker vessels is it not poor judgement? How long can a judge who allows these slithering sorcerers to practice in their secret Chambers last? Shouldn't you lower yourselves and rid your house of these men who lie with men doing the thing unseemly? Why seek you honor from the broken and beaten? Shouldn't you seek the honor of him who sees all things? Mercy first, if this doesn't work, again, and repeat. Forgiveness is the power to heal all things. Do you not say do not kill, and then kill? Do these say do not lie, and yet teach lies? Are these not mentioned in revelation 12:9? Is this not the great and terrible day of the Lord? Practice mercy, love, and truth. In these there are no gain of the riches of the world. But, perhaps he will show you mercy. I have long time Holden my peace.

Let me begin by saying, I went to the Municipal Court today to meet with the prosecutor to negotiate a deal for lesser changes related to my traffic citation for a rolling stop. The Court is completely unorganized. Upon walking into the Court you come into a open lobby area. There are no signs or directions for people coming to court. When you walk through the lobby into the next hallway / room, you will see a big window for the clerk of courts, and likely many people standing around. No chairs , no signs, no directions, nothing to tell you what you need to do when your coming to court. After standing around for a few minutes and observing people going up to the window, I finally overheard some else checking in for court hearing. So I went up and checked in. To my surprise I was not on the list, even though I would in their records online as having a hearing that day. There were three clerk of court employees working in the window, at any one time. The one I spoke with was professional and polite. I was asked by the clerk if I want to contest the citation. I explained to her that I was there to speak with the prosecutor. it became clear that I was not on their list, and they had no prosecutor there that day, just a judge. The clerk informed me that I was not required to be there, that I could pay the citation online. I knew all of this, but I still went to court to mitigate the charges. It quickly became clear to me that this municipal court is less interested in due process or a more interested in collecting money. I have been to mayors courts in Ohio, that were run better, and more professional toward the public. Do yourself a favor, if you need to go to this court, you are likely better off paying for any attorney to represent you. Not for their legal skills, but for they connections / relationship to the court staff

Not only are they unprofessional but they are discriminating i went to court there for a charge that I didn't commit but they used my family name against me which idk how that is even legal that and i actually was the true victim in this case but they still put charges on me and claimed its only to make sure that im going to mental health which is stupid because I don't need anyone to make sure im going to mental health because I was going to mental health before i was ever going to that court also both my lawyer and my prosecutor were conflict of interest but they still got away with doing my case which i thought was illegal
