Need help with probate in New York?
Amazing how location & people differ from borough to borough. I needed some info from the Nassau county courts & Manhattan criminal court. When I called Manhattan, they were so rude on the phone, no phone ethics whatsoever. When I called Nassau county, the person I spoke with was so compassionate & helpful. Don't mean to be stereotypical, but the person I spoke with from Manhattan was a black female & the person from Nassau was a white female. Sorry to say, but the majority of situations are like that & unfortunately, that's the way it is.👍for that wonderful person at Nassau.
Just been going to court to sort some legal matters and i must tell you, everyone there is soon humane and honestly very courteous. From Court officers to people at the main Information desk, they are ALL very wonderful people. Their job is super tough but they still wear a smile. Surprise with so much positiveness. God Bless America!!!
The place is very antiquated, could use a facelift. The judge was really really nice, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Needs better parking. The neighborhood is lousy but there is plenty of police presence there. The corner deli has great food and an ATM, and across from the court is a Dunkin Donuts
