Need help with probate in Virginia?
Be advised the clocks are ten minutes fast here. Meaning if you are five minutes early, according to their clocks you are five minutes late and the courtroom doors are locked. When I left the court their clocks read quarter after 8, in my car and on my mobile time was 8:07. Also the minutes I was late were due to walking to the door realizing I had to go back to my car to put my purse away.
Back in 2003 I was 16 years I caught a felony as a juvenile because I hit a nurse at comberland hospital group home and the judge hoover was trying to give me 20 years in prison and four years in Probation and that was a lot for a kid and when through 5 month's for them to drop some of my time and they did hoover gave me 4 years in juvenile detention center and 4years in adult supervised Probation and at the time my family residence was at Philadelphia and they did feel mercy for me or my family that they would travel from Philadelphia to Virginia that's a 6 hour ride but I'm OK now I did my time.
Went here to get married and no purses or cell phones are allowed inside, seems a little ridiculous. The staff is very friendly though so that made up for the disappointment of not being able to take photographs :(
There is a reason the court building is so nice...it is the main source of revenue for the city. Staff is friendly/helpful, but thats about the only nice thing I have to say about this place.
