Who to speak with when visiting the Sherburne County probate court
Plan ahead to be early in case available parking is limited and be prepared for formal security measures upon entering the building, as courthouses are official state and federal property. This generally includes passing through metal detectors and allowing search of any belongings.
Many courthouses do not allow cell phones, so keep that in mind as your phone may need to be turned off upon entering the courthouse, or even left outside.

Reviews of the Sherburne County Court Administration
Worst place I’ve ever had to go for court. Was charged without being proven guilty. The process for everything takes about 4 to 7 hours of your time terrible county avoid this area in minnesota
Be very careful, they may charge you for something you didn't do!!! There is no innocent until proven guilty here!!
With anything government is expected to be some bad reviews but the overall outcome is phenomenal whether it is getting your driver's license, finding assistance base programs, or getting legal documents. I would praise the courthouse section of it but no one likes nir enjoys having to go to that portion of the building. Once you know where you're going and what you need there is literally next to no hassle certain departments require exact change since they do not carry extra cash. The Sherburne County Government Center is under construction but from what they have finished it looks absolutely amazing. Thank you for everything you do for Sherburne County residents.
Do NOT come here if you are new to Minnesota looking to apply for a driver's license. For whatever reason only select courthouses (closest Anoka or Buffalo) are available to do knowledge tests and this is not one of them. Even though I've previously carried a Minnesota drivers license I'm required to retest. All right, well it would've been nice if someone told me that while I was waiting in line for 20 minutes before I realized there was a number system and wasted another hour of my day there only to find out afterwards. I'll give an extra star because the lady was at least nice about me wasting my time there. What a nice welcoming to Minnesota.
Its funny, they act so rude and educated because they know what a form is, but they can't help you find the ones you need. I've asked very basic and simple questions and the clerk has just walked away without answering me. They were also rude to my mother when she simply asked for a copy of something that she paid for... don't understand how they get away with treating people so disrespectful and get to keep their jobs... Going to court is more than a nuisance thanks to these jerks! Get it together Sherburne county. I recommend a self help center with someone who can legally help instead of sending people to run in circles and get nowhere.
