Just got done with the convenience court for supervision after a speeding ticket. The process was simple - walk in, sit. Two state attorneys handling the cases in an assembly line fashion. They tell you when to go give your information to the court reporter at the front of the room. The attorneys pull your case, go over the supervision offer with you. Judge comes in a few minutes later, and at least in my case, he was somewhat jovial. You spend maybe a minute in front of him while he asks you if you accept the terms of the supervision. I opted to wear a suit. A number of people showed up in jeans and a T-shirt, and it didn't seem to be held against them. People were given a few months to pay when they needed it. Overall, a simple and reasonably painless procedure. Rendering unto Caesar has never been easier.

This court makes it less difficult to find dockets, eFile, and to get informed about one's case. Compared to courts in other jurisdictions, this is the Ritz-Carlton.
