I'm getting married next week and I have to return my marriage license within 10 days of the wedding date. I went on today to schedule the appointment and there aren't any appointments available until June 10th. They should update the website to put in the correct dates available this is costing people money and it sure won't cost me my wedding. This is absolutely ridiculous that no one can call back or email back to help schedule an appointment since they made everything online when online isn't even available until months in advance. I wish I could give zero stars. **Update: I called 13 times today and emailed them everyday for the past 5 days. Good luck returning your marriage license in person no one answered any phone calls are responded to any emails. I left 2 messages at both locations.
I am trying to renew my notary, the final step is to be sworn in so my stamps can be created and mailed. I tried calling the local Clerk's office where I went in the past, no response, I have left 5 messages. I sent emails, no response. I set up an appointment to drive all the way to Detroit just to have one in case I still do not get a response.
It was a very smooth process for my husband and I to get our marriage licence from the clerk office. Just make sure you complete your application online and make an appointment so you don't make more than one trip there like we mistakenly did. Once we did all the above and presented all documents needed it was a fast process from there. We paid in cash and they gave us three copies of the licence and told us what we need to do once we were married. The staff were very polite, professional and helpful. However, be prepared to go through a metal detector and your bag/purse getting scanned.
My Mom needs a marriage license for health insurance purposes and you cannot get a call back or get any answers- we paid extra money for expedited shipping and still haven't received the marriage license from March 26- it is now April 19. Her health care is void until we receive this and I understand times are tough right now, but this is ridiculous!
This is outrageous, a couple weeks back I had birth certificate forms sent to my house so I may fill it out an send money order for my kids. Due to the fact that to get appointments is made so difficult. Up an till now these forms were never received in the mail, and I’m trying to call but there is no worker to pick my call. This is absolutely ridiculous and absurd
