Need help with probate in Nevada?
Make sure you keep all paperwork and transactions. Get a copy of the court hearing. After 5 years they 'just realized' I didn't pay a full amount and added ridiculous fees. Since they didn't have accurate info, records I had to pay an extra $400 for an error on their end. Since I didn't have documents from 5 years ago I could not do anything about it.
I called to obtain information about warrants because my ex is trying to have my son for Christmas break and I wanted to make sure he would be safe. I knew my ex had been pulled over and didn’t pay his fines. The woman on the phone was very short with me and did let me know there was a warrant. I explained my son possibly leaving with him and that I wanted to make sure he would be safe and what I could do since my ex had a warrant. She said “well, I mean, the fine needs to be paid in cash and it’s $1,000”. That’s the only answer I received. I’ve never been pulled over or had a ticket. I don’t know how the system works and just needed some general information. Who else should I call under that circumstance? I originally called the Sheriff’s office and they directed me to the county court. Just needed some answers and wanting to find out if I can legally not allow my son(who is 8) to leave with my ex now knowing he has a standing warrant.

The highway patrol around here will pull you over if you are doing even three miles per hour over the speed limit. They like to go after the military. Bunch of a-holes. Then on top of that, the tickets cannot be paid online, like some of the more modern courts around the country. This place is a sh!thole.
Crooked and they do not uphold the constitution first as the law of this land.
