I'm leaving this review in reference to past business and visits to this Courthouse, and in reference to the future of the building. When living in Fredericktown, my husband and I had several matters of business that we had to take care of at this Courthouse, and all of the employees that we encountered, were very friendly and helpful. The gentleman that runs the "Voter Registrar" office, as I will call it, was particularly very helpful, in which we were greatly appreciative. I am giving the courthouse 4 out of 5 stars, because I realize, as an older building, it needs some updates. I hear on-going stories, about a proposed new Courthouse, so that worries me about the future of this historical building, that is currently the Madison County Courthouse. If a new building is going to be in the future, for this County, I want to suggest, that hopefully, the Madison County Historical Society, and or any private citizens, would hopefully come to the rescue of the building and try to keep it, and maintain it, just for historical purposes, as I find it a great part of the area history, and it is quite a lovely building. I just really think it would be a great loss, and a great shame, if the building were to be torn down, or left vacant with no maintenance. I realize that taking care of a historical building requires money, but hopefully the community would be willing to help out with donations. History always needs to be preserved!
You can tell the building's been here for a long time. They don't build stuff like this anymore.
What kind of place is this? Your prosecutors Office is in a house that is infested with fleas and covered with feces and urine and stinks to high heaven. What kind of county are you running? He’s not doing his job apparently I guess he just sits on his ass and collects the counties money. His name is Dwight Robbins, disgusting and a worthless prosecuting attorney.
