Very unhelpful! Went there to inquire about filing a temporary emergency custody order for children presently in my home and care just to learn there's not a process in place in NC. NC has the worst mental health and child welfare laws.
Easy process. In and out. Arrive early, first come first serve for traffic court. Officials did not badger or belittle anyone. Pretty good experience!
Definitely there is no justice here!! Magistrate in magistrate court is not fit and no one above them cares to even return our phone calls!! NC Board of Justice can’t do anything b/c Union County use not unlicensed individuals for Mag. positions! Magistrate Magi is the one that I am referring to.
They don’t care about the children in this county. They’ll always side with the Mouther and never even talk to the kids and see what it is they want. What a joke!
You shouldn’t have to waste your time becoming a legal expert when someone dies. Affidavits? Executor vs. beneficiary? You just need to know what to do so you can get back to your family.
