Choose which county

The probate court with controlling jurisdiction is generally within the state and county where one primarily lives.

Started out behind schedule. Supposed to begin at 8:00 but the judge shows up at 8:30. No sense of urgency to maintain the schedule and a blatant disregard for anyone's schedule but their own. Personally, I don't feel my time is less valuable than theirs but, I guess, that doesn't really matter. UPDATE: Now 11:00 AM, still waiting for my 8:00 AM court time. Court officer unable to find the file for the current case in front of the judge. I guess I'll just wait some more while they look for it.

Sit all day on a very uncomfortable wood bench, took forever, I would have rather pay the fine, then go to jury duty again.

Experienced judges, professionally run, court time is punctual, judge was fair. Based on 3 family court experiences.
