Great historic building still in use as the stated name. Right next door is the cop shop and FCBank. That's pretty much all Wickliffe had to offer.

Love them Thier ! Everyone is always very nice an very helpful. My favorite people are them men at the door the security they are the best .

I tried calling today simply to ask a question regarding identity and drivers permit for my foreign relative who is here to study at UC. I heard, in the recorded greeting, that they were closing at noon for Good Friday. I attempted to reach someone 4 times, each time waiting while the phone rang for 5+ minutes and then disconnected. I spoke with someone briefly, twice. First, I was told to call another number, which gave me the identical options, and second, when I was quickly asked to, “Hold please”, followed by holding for many minutes and a reconnect to the greeting options, with 5+ minutes of more ringing and another disconnect. I don’t know if I’m more outraged by the thirty wasted minutes or the fact that their hours are shortened for Good Friday. They’re already on reduced hours, because of COVID-19, when many Americans are unemployed. I’m sure they’re not affected financially by COVID. I would appreciate their handling their positions more responsibly.

They don't answer the phone or return messages. Very frustrating. I would give 0 stars if possible.

Very unprofessional. The person who helped me was texting while working, talking about her personal life with coworker, and jumped up to go to the bathroom “because she was about to pee on herself” while she was in the middle of printing my new drivers license.

Kara is detail oriented in customer care. She goes above and beyond measure to help others. She serves others with great hospitality. Thank you!!!

Each and every time I have visited both the Circuit and District Court Clerk offices conducting business, I have found the staff are courteous, professional, helpful, and with those good qualities come with a smile! The leadership skills exhibited by the Honorable Vincent Riggs is apparent. Thank you, ladies and gents!

I feel as if the only people that leave five star reviews have either never been to this courthouse or work at this courthouse. It’s a courthouse. Overly unnecessarily complicated processes that lack actual organization. You know, a courthouse.

Very rude and inappropriately impatient. The women who represents the face of this facility are nasty rude, basis, and aggressive. Will tell and accuse you are wrong right off the top. When I lived there in the past I dreaded going there. I'd mentally prepare myself for the mental and verbal abuse. The rating should be non existent. I've been told to call the police station if I had a complaint. It was the most horrible moments dealing with these people who are supposed to help and guide you to the right office or direct you to the correct phome number. Understand Mayfield can be a confusing area for people new to the city like I was. Being military we will move often....i pray my family and I will not be treated like this again! I am clueless to why they become overly sensitive and mean when you call the wrong number and cannot direct or transfer you to the dmv ect. All I ask to be kind, respectful, and listen to the people.

I moved here from Michigan. I have a disabled son & when I had to get my guardianship transferred to Kentucky, everyone at the Hancock County Courthouse was extremely helpful.

CLOSED FOR MAJOR RENOVATION. NO PUBLIC ACCESS The Henry County Courthouse, located in New Castle, is undergoing major renovation and will be closed for an extended period of time. A temporary venue has been provided in a formerly vacant commercial space in Eminence, Kentucky. A review of the original courthouse , written about a year ago, and prior to the renovation is included below. Previous additions to the original building were added in the Twentieth Century and have been removed from the original structure, which was completed shortly after the Civil War. The original courthouse structure will be retained and upgraded inside to conform to current public facilities standards. An addition to the rear of the original building will conform to the asthetics of the original building, and where possible, interior archetecural features of the original structure will be retained. The following review was posted about a year ago: The Henry County Courthouse is one of the oldest courthouses in Kentucky. Construction began before the Civil War and stopped for the duration of the war, after which the building was completed. The walls are solid brick and the framework is heavy timber construction. There is a void between the ceiling above the ground level and the floor of the upper level. That void is filled with many tons of earth, making a massive timber framework necessary. Several theories are offered regarding the purpose of this feature, but there is no known definitive explanation. These include fire protection, noise isolation and increased thermal mass, making the building cooler in summer and warmer in winter. When the courthouse was built, there was no electric light or central heat. Many fireplaces and chimneys we're provided for heat. High ceilings and large windows helped provide natural light and ventilation. Interior doors had transoms to provide ventilation when doors were closed. The basement is little used today and is not open to the public. Massive structural timbers are visible in the basement, and some of the original jail cells are there, still intact. The original ceramic tile surface of the ground level floor remains mostly intact, with a few damaged places. One such place was repaired with concrete many years ago and bears graffiti inscribed in the concrete before it had hardened. The original clockworks have been removed from the clock tower, restored and put on display on the ground level. The clock still runs with a fair degree of accuracy. This courthouse has been renovated and updated several times but a substantial portion of the building remains much as it was originally built. The building is now outdated and does not meet current needs. A major renovation and expansion is currently in the planning stages. As many of the original design features as possible will be retained. Please mark the "thumbs up" icon below if you find this review useful.

The clerk's office is always helpful and able to provide direction and advice to not only the general public, but to attorneys as well.

Went here the other day and was in and out super quick. Everyone working was super nice and friendly.

Im glad that the court house was so close to The Right Of Revolution Ministries..I stopped in and was so drained when I left..Now that place really cares about everyone they go way above and beyond normal charity..

Judge Goodwin looked over my sons birth certificate the day his mother tried to give custody to her mother and didnt see he had a dad.... who was actively involved in his life. Becauae the grandmother lied and said I was not. She awarded the grandmother custody, without my REQUIRED SIGNATURE AND PERMISSION per ky due process for granting gaurdianship. ULTIMATELY ENDED WITH ME NEVER SEEING MY SON AGAIN AND A $100,000 DEBT. SHE HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO IMMEDIATELY RECTIFY HER DECISION AND INSTEAD RECUSED HERSELF because she had the mother in law arrested and imprisoned for 2 days for PURGURY 10 YEARS PRIOR IN A LITITAGATION WHEN SHE WAS THE OPPOSING ATTORNEY!!!! AND LIKE I SAID I NEVER HAVE SEEN HIM AGAIN AND IM OUT 40 GRAND AND AN 80K DEBT TO ATTORNEYS!!!!!!! THATS RIGHT BESIDES EVERYTHING ELSE SHE LOST CUSTODY OF HER OLDEST DAUGHTER 1 TIME AND YOUNGEST DAUGHTER 2 TIMES.... THE LAST TIME EMERGENCY CUSTODY TO MY MOTHER AFTER SHE BEAT HER PREGNANT STOMACH WITH A BROOM HANDLE.... BUT THE JUDGE DIDNT EVEN LOOK INTO HER BACKGROUND APPARENTLY BEFORE ILLEGALLY HANDING HER MY SON!!!!!

Lived in Lagrange my whole life the courthouse and court yard is a very beautiful place . Saddened to see the location change

You have to have an appointment, the phone lines are always busy and they blame it on having court, older sheriff at front door wasn’t very polite, unsatisfied!

Everyone is stuck up! And need to work on people skills before they go in snub their nose at someone. Then try and play victim when they see you get irritated.

Pleasant and knowledgeable people who are more than willing to help you out in a jam. Thanks a bunch!

Mr. Dark infection I call upon you at this court house so that I may defend it's honor sir.

When I called , every woman i spoke to except mrs.Belcher was rude and wasnt helpful in the slightest. They dont care about you and will laugh at you.
