I grew up in a small town in southeastern Ohio called Pleasant City. Even though I’ve lived all over the place— Columbus OH (Go Buckeyes!), Savannah GA, Sanford NC, and most currently Colorado Springs CO— I still consider Ohio “home.”
I received my BA in Business Administration from the University of Mount Union (Alliance, OH), my MBA from Otterbein University (Westerville, Ohio), and my Master of Trust & Wealth Management from Campbell University (Buies Creek, NC).
I worked in insurance for 5 years with a focus on the Homeowners segment, so I quickly developed a heart for helping people in their times of need – fires, tornados, hail, water damage – you name it, I was there in the thick of it. I later made a switch to higher education, where I focused on the development of various graduate level business programs. It was here where I discovered the field of Trust and Wealth Management and actually pursued my graduate degree while employed there because I was so intrigued. Over the years, as I grew more connected with others in this field, I knew it was where I belonged.
From my first contact with Atticus, I could tell they were passionate and excited about what they do. I joined the team, with zero hesitation, because I believed in their mission. I’m so glad to be a part of something where helping people is at the heart of the business.
